What if I want a longer or

custom session?​

If you’re interested in a longer session or a custom experience, feel free to reach out! I’m happy to create a personalized option that fits your vision and needs.

How do I pay?

All payments are processed securely through Intuit QuickBooks. To reserve your session date, an initial retainer is required at the time of booking. This helps prevent no-shows and officially secures your spot.

Session dates are held for up to 7 days after the retainer invoice is sent. The remaining balance is due prior to your session.

 

Does my session time include driving time?  

Session time does not include driving between locations (as long as travel time is under 30 minutes).

 

While quick outfit changes are built into most sessions, extended changing time can reduce shooting time and the number of final images delivered. Because sessions are planned around natural light, I recommend keeping outfit transitions efficient.

 

Please plan for light touch-ups only during your session. If you would like to do full hair or makeup changes, just let me know ahead of time so we can schedule your session accordingly.

Can I bring a guest to

my session?

Absolutely! Guests are welcome to join and support you during your session.

To ensure the best results, I ask that posing and creative direction stay with me during the shoot. What I see through the camera often differs from what’s visible off-camera, and this helps keep the session flowing smoothly. However, if you notice something small like a strand of hair out of place or a twisted outfit detail, feel free to speak up. 

Where will I change

my outfit?  

Outfit changes typically take place in your vehicle or nearby public restrooms, depending on the location. I recommend planning outfits with this in mind to ensure a smooth and efficient session flow.

Where can the shoot

take place?

I’m based in the Western Minneapolis suburbs and primarily photograph within this area. Locations beyond a 30-minute driving radius may require an additional travel fee to account for extended travel time.

 

I’m always happy to help with location selection and have several favorite spots I regularly recommend — just let me know if you'd like suggestions! All of my shoots come with a complimentary location guide.

What do we do if the weather

is bad?

Beautiful photos are absolutely possible in a wide range of weather conditions — including cloudy skies, which often create soft, flattering light. If conditions are safe and workable, sessions will remain scheduled as planned.

 

Because my calendar fills quickly, especially during peak season, complimentary rescheduling for cloudy conditions is not available.

 

For added flexibility, the Flexible Date Add-On may be purchased at the time of booking. This allows one reschedule for any reason without forfeiting your retainer.

Why are the 2025 prices different from the 2026? 

Photography is my full-time profession, and each session represents far more than the time spent shooting.

 

Because my booking season is limited and demand continues to grow, pricing is adjusted annually to reflect the time, expertise, and care that go into providing a high-quality client experience.
